Unfortunately, I have to part with my beloved Podenco girls because my living conditions have changed massively and unfortunately life in the van is not good for them at all. The two animals were rescued in Portugal three years ago and are believed to be sisters. They master all basic commands, are very curious and adventurous. They have also attended dog school. Since they have a strong hunting instinct, they should always be kept on a leash and only run freely in a secured area. Their new home should ideally be rural and quiet with enough space to run and explore. Unfortunately, they do not get along well with cats and children. They both love spy games and are very intelligent. At home, they also like to lie around comfortably and love to be cuddled. Both animals are fully chipped, vaccinated, castrated and have the EU pet passport. Unfortunately, due to the cramped space in the van, there have recently been some disputes, which is why I am urgently looking for new accommodation for the two of them. They generally get along very well and like each other, but they can become jealous in stressful situations. I would like to find a new home for both animals together, but I can also imagine giving them away separately and so they could get the chance of a new, hopefully happier, life.
The facts:
• Names: Spring & Shy (white face)
• Born around March 2019 in Peniche, Portugal
• Both fully chipped, vaccinated, castrated with EU pet passport
• Very good health conditions and no known diseases
• Size: Medium-small with around 12 kg
• Color: Cinnamon, Brown
We are currently on a campsite around Mulroy Bay in County Donegal close to Letterkenny. I am happy to answer your questions.
